Steven Burley B.Sc. (Hons) Aquaculture & Fishery Management MIFM CFTA is a keen and well travelled angler. Before the mid 90’s Steve was a Complex Logistics Company Director for a large distribution company based in the south serving blue chip companies such as IBM.

In the mid 90’s Steve changed tack and earned distinctions and awards studying two years full time for a National Diploma in Aquatics and Ornamental Fish at Sparsholt College and then a further three years to earn a Batchelor of Science Honours Degree in Aquaculture & Fishery Management.

Steve then lectured in specialist subjects such as Sport Fishery Management & Fishery Creation at Sparsholt College for two years whilst starting and building up his own successful business Burley Aquatic Developments. A few years ago Roger & Steve met on a netting job, quickly joined forces and laid the foundations of what has now become Future Fisheries Ltd primarily involved in the farming of quality large Carp for the UK re-stocking industry.

Steve is also a full member of The Institute of Fisheries Management and a member of the Coarse Fish Trade Association.
