The Westbourne House Lake ticket is difficult to get hold off and once you have one it’s best not to let it go! As the years go by less people drop out and so it’s becoming even harder to get in. We operate an application process that involves completing the questionnaire, visiting the lake for an interview and to see the fishery and then waiting for the next place to emerge. Although we operate the list with the time people are on it in mind, what we are really looking for are people who come well recommended or who clearly connect with the ethos behind the fishery. We also check our list with other clubs and anglers we know as we are looking to preserve both the quality of people and the angling at the lake. We also have Westbourne House School using the lake on a regular basis for the odd hour or so and so we have to be confident that our members will always behave appropriately.
