Fish Farm Site

Future Fisheries Fish Farming is now based at our recently finished new site in Sussex. We have a good source of water, which importantly we are the first users, plus a number of growing on ponds and two lakes all situated in the beautiful Sussex countryside. This site venue has been purpose built for our requirements during 2011-12 and is now operational. We can hatch fish and grow them on harvesting at specific sizes as required. As a result we are able to offer fish from C3 (3.5- 5Ibs) upwards. Away from the Fish Farm we have additional on growing sites where we place specially selected fish to become larger, these sites are secure and importantly again we are the first users of that water. These outlying lakes and ponds are supplementary fed and also naturally productive allowing us to take fish on to larger sizes. Our new fish farm facility combined with our off site on growing waters means that we are now able to produce more fish and larger specimens.

Our signature fish are the unique ‘Italian’ strain Carp. These fish display remarkable growth rates coupled with a beautiful ‘full framed’ body shape. They are also unusually scaled with a high percentage of big plated, scattered, linear and fully scaled specimens in every year class. To learn more about the history of our Italian strain Carp.
